Can't be used alone - requires other purchases

I am an ESL instructor and used this book for a Speaking/Listening class in an Intensive English Program. My biggest issue with the student book is that it is practically useless without the audio CDs (a separate purchase of $30 - $69, depending on the seller). The CD that comes with this book is only for the self-study exercises in the back - none of the listening exercises in the main lessons are included. I understand the publisher's profit requirements, but other ESL books I've used have included at least half (if not all) of the listening lessons on the student book CD, so students can practice at home. Furthermore, there are very few sample dialogues included, which many students at this level need. Good ones are available, but they are only in the Teacher's Manual (list price $26). While the photos and illustrations are appealing and some of the topics are interesting, they aren't enough to overcome the fact that not enough is included in the student book.
